ABOUT US


“Born in 2000, Ferrari Fashion School is based in the Milano Fashion District, surrounded by the main international brands. Its aim is to prepare talented students and make them succeed in the Fashion and Luxury field. The educational paths go from Undergraduate courses: Fashion Design, Fashion Stylist and Digital Communication, Fashion Business & Digital Marketing, to Master programmes such as Fashion Design for Womenswear, Menswear and Accessories, Fashion Stylist, Tailoring, Communication & Business and Fashion Photography. The School counts around 200 students with 10% of internationals. Ferrari has stipulated strong agreement with the American University in Switzerland, the Dar Al-Hekma University, Ashabcab Studio of Art, Inc, and the major Italian institutional partners. The most important collaborations have been with Sartoria Caraceni, Moncler, Ralph Lauren, Scognamiglio, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Missoni, Conde Nast Group, and many others”.

FASHION DESIGN

The course leads the student to make an in-depth study of research methods, stylistic and graphic design of a total look women’s or men’s collection, creating a coordinated image between the clothing and / or accessories collection, following the highest standards required today by the design departments and fashion companies. 

The course develops the analysis of Brand Identity and from the marketing analysis as well as that of the competitors, passing through the product research, the study of the folder and the colour coordinated, the development of the graphic and technical part of the collection, up to the product grid design. Creating a complete and highly professional portfolio allows the student to present himself to the experts with an excellent “business card” that allows him to demonstrate his professional maturity and the technical skills acquired.


FASHION STYLIST

The main purpose of the course is to train a complete professional figure able to accurately select models and accessories for photo-shooting outfits in order to get the highest art and creative expression of the final product and to meet the client’s needs. It’s a cross professional figure capable of creating visual concepts, designing creative storyboards aimed at clienting them and performing PR activities with professionals such as fashion editors and private clients.

The highly professional approach and the skills acquired during the course are possible through the direct contact with the most known Showrooms and Luxury Stores in Milan, international capital of fashion. By studying the Fashion System and the most important international brands, as well as by collaborating with photographers, fashion designers, models agencies, make-up artists, hair stylists etc. The student will learn the teamwork and to deal with all the other professionals involved in the system.


PHOTOGRAPHY

The in Fashion Photography aims at training a professional figure who has the technical skills and knowledge in the photography field and wants to acquire an in-depth competence in the field of Fashion: an author and an artist, who has both design and creative skills, together with a fashion-oriented aesthetics and who is able to use the pictures as a means of visual communication. The professional fashion photographer combines the technical and creative skills with particular attention to the perception and communication of lifestyles connected to fashion.

At the end of the course, the Photographers can work in the many working fields of the fashion environment: publishing, web, television, photo agencies, post-production, as freelance, working as a photographer or specialist in fashion photo publishing, photo styling, art Buyer, Studio Manager and Photo editor.
